Counting

A counting game where members count up one number at a time and chase the channel record.

Members take turns posting the next number in a counting channel. Every channel keeps its own count and record, so you can run several games at once.

Rules

  • Each message must be exactly one more than the last count.
  • With Allow Math Expressions on, members can post +, -, *, /, ^, % and brackets, such as (2+3)*2.
  • With Allow Consecutive Counting off, the same member cannot count twice in a row.
  • Messages that are not a number or a valid expression are ignored.
  • A correct count gets the success reaction. Beating the record posts a message.

Mistakes

A wrong number, or counting twice in a row, gets the failure reaction and then the Failure Action:

ActionWhat happens
Reset Count to ZeroThe count goes back to 0 and the channel is told who broke it.
Delete Wrong MessageThe message is deleted and the count carries on.
Warn Counter OnlyThe member is warned and the count carries on.
