Watermark
Setup guide for the Watermark add-on: remove default branding and display your custom server name across all bot embeds.
By default, every Discord embed generated by Medusa displays default branding in the embed footer. The Watermark add-on provides white-label branding removal, replacing the default footer with your custom community or server name.
The Watermark add-on is a license-level entitlement. Once claimed to your Medusa license, white-label branding activates automatically across all system embeds, logs, notifications, tickets, and module responses. Full Source licenses include this entitlement automatically.
How the Watermark Add-on Works
When the Watermark add-on is enabled on your license key:
- Medusa detects the entitlement during startup and whenever license validations refresh.
- The bot replaces default footer text with your configured server name (
SERVER_NAME). - If no custom server name is configured in settings, Medusa automatically falls back to your Discord guild name.
