# Utility

> Reminders, AFK, polls, keyword highlights, sticky messages, channel automation, forum management, timezones and stat counters.
Utility is a set of small tools for members and staff. Each one has its own settings group and can be turned off.
## Reminders
`/remind me when:2h30m text:Check the oven` reminds you in the channel when the time comes, or by DM with `dm:true`. Times use `m`, `h` and `d`, such as `10m`, `2h30m` or `3d`.
## AFK
`/afk [message]` marks you as away. Anyone who mentions you gets your message, and your nickname gets the **Nickname Prefix**. When you talk again, AFK is cleared and you see who mentioned you.
## Polls
`/poll question:Movie night? answers:Friday | Saturday | Sunday` posts a poll with a button for each answer, up to 10. Turn on `multiple` to allow more than one pick. The poll closes after `hours`, or when the host or a member with Manage Messages presses **End Poll**.
## Keyword Highlights
`/highlight add keyword:release` sends you a DM when someone says the word in a channel you can see. Highlights skip channels you are already chatting in and wait between alerts in the same channel.
## Sticky Messages
A sticky message is reposted at the bottom of its channel after **Repost After Messages** new messages, so it is always easy to find.
## Channel Automation

| Auto Reactions | Reacts to new messages in a channel, optionally only ones with attachments. |
| Auto Publish | Publishes new messages in announcement channels. **Publish Bot Messages** includes bots. |
| Auto Threads | Opens a thread under each new message in a channel. Names can use `%user%` and `%content%`. |
## Forum Management
Posts a starter message with a **Mark Solved** button when a new forum thread is created, keeps threads in **Keep Threads Unarchived In** from archiving, and provides `/thread solve`, `/thread close`, `/thread reopen` and `/thread rename`.
## Timezones
Members save their IANA timezone (such as `America/New_York` or `Europe/London`) with `/timezone set`. Anyone can check a member's local time with `/timezone view` or compare their own time against another member's with `/timezone compare`.
## Stat Counters
A counter renames a voice channel with a live number, such as `Members: %members%`. Templates can use `%members%`, `%humans%`, `%bots%`, `%boosts%`, `%tier%`, `%channels%`, `%roles%` and `%emojis%`.
Discord only allows two renames per channel every ten minutes, so counters update every ten minutes.

**Polls**

**Keyword Highlights**

**Sticky Messages**: a channel, title, message, color and **Repost After Messages** for each.
**Channel Automation**: the auto reaction, auto publish and auto thread lists. Auto threads also set **Archive After**.
**Server Stat Counters**: a voice channel and a name template for each.
**Forum Management**: turns thread commands on or off, sets **Keep Threads Unarchived In** and configures **Forum Auto Responses** (channel, title, message, solved tag name and whether to lock and archive on solve).
**Timezones**: turns `/timezone` on or off.
