# Starboard

> Reposts messages to a highlights channel once they get enough star reactions.

Members react to good messages with the star emoji. When a message reaches the **Required Star Threshold**, Medusa reposts it in the **Starboard Feed Channel** with the author, the content and a link back.

## How It Works

* The starboard post shows the current star count and updates as stars are added or removed.
* If the count drops below the threshold, the starboard post is deleted.
* With **Prevent Authors Starring Own Messages** on, Medusa removes an author's star from their own message.
