# What is Medusa?

URL: https://zerodev.ca/docs/medusa

> A self-hosted Discord bot with 26 included modules and a web dashboard.

Medusa is a Discord bot you run on your own server. It replaces the handful of bots most communities use for moderation, tickets, levels, giveaways and the rest, and you set all of it up from a web dashboard.

* **26 included modules**, plus Core. Turn off the ones you do not need.
* **5 paid modules**: Automation, Economy, Emoji Locker, Minecraft and Product Panel.
* **16 languages** for the bot and the dashboard.
* **Several bots in one process**, each running the modules you give it.
* **Ranks** that decide who can use which commands and dashboard pages.
